Help Continue Vital Flood Recovery Efforts
SALT expended $353,344 in assistance to 134 properties in 2013. Since August 2012, $430,457 in direct assistance has been given in support of 165 projects. Over 60 of these projects were classified as major rebuilds, which means that the properties sustained serious damage from Hurricane Irene. There is still a great need, not only to rebuild pre-flood and post-flood purchased properties, but also to increase the promotion of disaster preparedness to improve the resiliency of the Schoharie Valley.
